The Homepage
The homepage is the starting point of online shopping with Furniturefair.ie. From this page you can browse through our entire range selecting the product category you’re interested in at the left hand side of the page.
The Homepage also contains links to our products on sale as well as customer service and information pages. At any point during your visit you can return to the homepage by clicking the home tab at the top left hand side of the page.
How do I search for products?
Browse
You can browse through our entire online catalogue by selecting one of our main categories from the menu at the left hand side of the page. Each time you select a category from the main menu you will be shown a list of relevant sub categories you can select for further browsing until you find the product you’re looking for.
Search
You can search for products by entering a search term such as name, range or keyword into the search box at the top right hand corner of the screen and we’ll return all of the products which match your chosen term.
How do I register?
Registering with us will make your online visits to Furniturefair.ie quicker and easier. To begin the registration process, click ‘Create Account’ at the top left hand corner of the screen. You will be asked to create a user name and a password (minimum 6 characters.) We will also ask you to provide your email address and a security question in case you forget your password and we will be able to resend your password to you. We will then ask you to complete some personal details before completing the registration process.
How do I log in to my account?
Once you’ve registered with us, you’ll be able to log in to Furniturefair.ie at any time. Just click log in at the top left hand corner of the screen and enter you username and password. If you’ve forgotten your password, just click forgotten password and we will resend you your password.
Logging in makes placing an order even faster and easier than usual, as all of your address’s and delivery details are already filled in. Whilst logged in, you can change any of these details as well as any other addresses or details you may have entered previously.
Using the Shopping Cart
Add an item to the shopping cart by clicking on ‘Add to Cart’ button in product description. You can view any item you have added to your cart tab located on the left hand side of the page under shop by department. You can delete items you don’t want to order from your shopping cart by clicking the ‘x’ button on each product located in the shopping cart.
You can also change the quantity of each product in the shopping cart by adding the required amount in the quantity box.
Comparing Products
The compare products feature is a useful way for customers to compare products after they have gone through the website. The add to compare button is located in each products profile across from the product image. When clicked, the chosen product will appear in the box labelled compare products on the left hand column.
When you have selected all the products you want click the compare items button at the bottom of the box. A pop up box will appear allowing you to view products in a side by side view comparing all your chosen attribute information.
How do I buy products and pay online?
Once you’ve found the product(s) you have been searching for, you can buy directly online. To do so, just click ‘add to cart’ button in product description of each item you want to buy. You’ll then be redirected to the checkout page. Remember, you can remove products from your cart or stop the ordering process at any stage.
If you are already logged in, all your details will appear, if not you will have the opportunity to log in at this point. Please note all fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory. You will then be asked what method of payment you will be using. For payment options click here. After finalising the order you will receive an on-line screen acknowledgement with your order number and details, which you should make a note of for future reference. You will also be sent a confirmation email. Please retain this as receipt of your order.
