Acceptance of Agreement
By purchasing goods/services on the furniturefair.ie website you are legally bound to accept these terms & conditions. All transactions are subject to the law of the Republic of Ireland and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland. This Agreement constitutes the entire and only agreement between us and you with respect to transactions processed by furniturefair.ie so please read them carefully.
Wooden furniture and fabrics are manufactured from natural products for which can vary in structure and grain etc – therefore images on this site are intended as a guide only. The company has a policy of continuous product development and reserve the right to change any product and specification on this site but don’t worry, changes won’t affect quality or performance.
If for some reason we are unable to deliver the goods ordered, you will be notified and refunded as soon as possible.
All credit and debit card payments that are made on our website are protected by a secure connection. This secure connection ensures that your credit and debit card is encrypted prior to it being transferred to the bank for authorisation.
We at the furniturefair.ie are committed to protecting your privacy and we will not release your personal Information to any company outside furniturefair.ie for mailing or marketing purposes.
To enable us to include a delivery service on all items we use a number of delivery methods depending on what you order. You can also collect products from our warehouse located at the Rossmore Factory Outlet, Dublin Rd, Latlurcan, Co. Monaghan – always ring in two days in advance to agree with staff – 047 75122 as the warehouse is closed at weekends. All UK (mainland) Deliveries incur an extra surcharge of £70, however this may be higher for remote areas.
For smaller items we use courier delivery. For larger items we use palletised delivery to the customers kerbside only (see more info below). And finally for large orders we use a furniture courier service where the furniture is brought in to your home by trained staff. If you would like a full two man delivery and assembly service this can be arranged and price will depend on number of units to be assembled etc. At any time you can upgrade your delivery type. Call us at any time to find out what way we can make it work best for you!
All deliveries are carried out by independent couriers/hauliers and they cannot accept payments on our behalf. Therefore all product must be paid in full before despatch. Always allow two weeks from when the product is collected from our factory before it will reach you - it is often quicker but occasionally for remote areas it takes longer. We cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivery caused by the couriers.
Information about Palletised Service
Palletised deliveries ensure your product isn't bumped, pushed, knocked or squashed in delivery. Pallets are brought to the kerbside only by the delivery drivers and they will expect you to have assistance ready. NB: they are independently employed to deliver pallets only and do not get involved in bringing product into your home. Therefore delivery will be booked in with you in advance so customers have time to get assistance ready to unload and bring the furniture into the house.
Assembly on any items requiring assembly is straightforward and all items have assembly instructions. However if you would prefer someone to assemble your furniture (Ireland only), please get in touch to discuss price per item.
Many items are in stock and if so, we will do our best to dispatch them within 10 working days. Other products, not in stock, will typically take 3 to 4 weeks to deliver. However once we receive your order and payment, we will get in touch on the next working day if we foresee any delay in delivery, over and above the delivery time quoted on the product description page. If evenings or weekend delivery suits you better, give us a call – we will do our best to help. A surcharge may apply for this service.
Always check that the product you wish to purchase will fit into the space available. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for deliveries that can’t fit. The purchaser of goods is responsible for all product upon accepting delivery or collection of the goods and should insure or protect the goods as they feel necessary.
If you are unsure about a product, you must let the delivery staff know so that original packaging isn’t removed.
You have 7 days from delivery date to let furniturefair.ie know that you wish to return the product however you will be charged €55 plus VAT, or you must return the goods at your own cost. This will be deducted from your refund. We cannot accept products back if they are not in their original packaging with instructions (where appropriate) and in a re-saleable condition.
Damaged or incorrect deliveries must be reported to the delivery staff while they are still at your premises. In the case where the goods are defective upon delivery or were incorrectly delivered they should be returned with the driver and reported to furniturefair.ie while the driver is still present.
Mattresses, duvets and pillows can only be returned if they are unopened. In respect of custom made and bespoke products our usual refund policy does not apply as we are unable to resell them – therefore these products can’t be returned unless they are faulty.
